After nine days of Navratri the tenth day of Navratri called as a Dussehra. Dussehra also known as a vijayadashmi. This festival is celebrated across india. Dussehra is the marks the victory of good over evil, represented by the epic Ramayana’s account of Lord Rama’s victory over the demon king Ravana.

In eastern india specially in west Bengal, Dussehra is linked with durga puja, celebrating Durga’s victory over Mahishasura. In east portion of india in the Dussehra visarjan of idol is takes place.
